Rocío holds a Bachelor Degree in Law. She graduated from Universidad de Valladolid in 1998, where she also completed the Jean Monnet Programme in the field of European Law. She specialises in Employment and Labour Law and Social Security for expat workers. She has completed several higher education courses in this area run by Centro de Estudios Financieros and the Madrid Bar Association. As a practicing lawyer, she has been a member of the Madrid Bar Association since 2006. In September 2010, she and Natalia Ponce co-founded NPS Asociados, a law firm specializing in International Mobility and Immigration Law based in Madrid.
